when i run the first command it does exactly what it should do and renames stex.gtl to stex.gtr
amongst anywhere from 4 to 8 other names and the names can vary from one .cas fiile to another

fnr.exe --cl --find ".gtl" --replace ".gtr" --dir "%cd%" --filemask "*.cas" --includeSubDirectories --useRegEx

and then this is run and it does it right,

fnr.exe --cl --find "stex.gtr" --replace "stex_gtl.gtr" --dir "%cd%2" --filemask "*.cas" --includeSubDirectories --useRegEx

If for some reason it is run again on the same set of files it changes the words to stex_gtl.gtr.gtr

I cannot figure out why. Any help appreciated

Okay, figured out why, the useregex makes it do it, took that out and it's fine now. Thanks anyway
