Hi.

I would like to replace for example

<setting>
aa
bb
cc
</setting>

text by

<setting>
dd
</setting>

The problem is, that i have no idea what is between <setting> and </setting>inside original file.

Is possibe to use fnr.exe to do it? What code to use? <setting>*</setting> doesnot work.

Thanks.

Hey,

If you use copy and paste the exact area from original file it should copy all the invisible characters.
Enter that value into "Find" text area.

Let me know if that doesn't work. If not, please attach the file (or part of the file) to this task.

Hi.
Well, the problem is not invisible characters - there can be dozen of variable text between <setting> and </setting>.

I just need one syntax to remove what is between <setting> and </setting> without knowledge what text is there.
