replace line that begins with...

Is it possible to replace lines in a document that begin with a specific word?

I have a document that has multiple lines in it that i want to remove. Those lines always begin with NRC.

I would try something like:
--useRegEx --find "^NRC.*" --replace ""

I tried "^NRC." and also "\n^NRC." and also "\nNRC.*" None of those removed the entire line. It would just remove the NRC. part of the line.
