Feature request

Hello,

I'd like to use regexp in 'replace'.
For example I find use regexp 'A x@x.com (.*) ---' and want to replace '---' substring to '-B-' use with s/---/-B-/g or other method.

Thanks,

Hi,

there is a nice way to handle something like this using solution described here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1191014/how-to-regex-replace-named-groups

I did the following test:

File Text: A x@x.com letter --- alphabetical ---- missing ---- lack release penchant slack acryllic laundry A x@x.com hh --- cease
Find: (A x@x.com .*? )---
Replace: $1-B-

Resulting File Text after Replace:
A x@x.com letter -B- alphabetical ---- missing ---- lack release penchant slack acryllic laundry A x@x.com hh -B- cease

Please let me know if this works for you.
